Ferrets

Feeding Your Ferret

Ferrets are carnivores and their staple diet needs to contain meat protein and they also need a constant supply of clean fresh water. Feeding a meat only diet without calcium can lead to the softening of the bones. The solution is a single extruded nugget diet containing all of the protein and supplements the ferret requires.

Quick Tip

It's important to know your ferret's habits. When do they wake up? What time do they go to sleep? What time is their favourite time to play? Knowing these behaviours will provide you with a clear indication about their health.
